S C O O T E R

I like my scooter

 

I zoom,  pass and,  race

 

I like the wind

 

on my  face.

 

 

I ollie over boulders

 

I speed round corners

 

I look like a motorbike

 

and give my Dad a fright! 

I am the rain

I AM THE RAIN


I CRASH INTO WINDOWS 

AND I SMASH INTO GLASS.

I POUR DOWN AND FLOOD THE WHOLE CITY.

THE HAIL SMASHES DOWN ONTO 

UMBRELLAS AND POKES HOLES. 

THE WIND BLOWS INTO BINS AND THE RUBBISH EXPLODES INTO THE SKY.

THE ZOO

 

I feel sad for the animals.  They stare angrily at me.  They look lonely turning their backs at the people.

The monkeys shake the cage so hard the bolts are smashing apart.  They suddenly scream out to each other.  The other monkeys join in and copy.  Its like a sound wave.  Some people block their ears.  Kids shout back and the monkeys go silent.

They sulk back to their dark, damp corner sadly picking bugs from their arms.  People shuffle away bored to the next cage.

Today me and Isaac and papa went toy

 hunting.  It was a public holiday so the train 

was packed! It was freezing cold outside so 

when we got in the train it was nice and snug 

because there is a heater under the seat.  I 

could hear people talking and laughing .  The 

train leans and shakes as it stops at 

Namba.    "Finally' I whispered to myself......

I WANT A CAT !

 

This is what I need

 

Two big green eyes

 One red nose

Six long BLACK whiskers

One little red tongue

A tiny mouth

A black fluffy face

Two pointy ears

 

That is all I need

My CAT SHOES

My black shoes creep like a cat. The sparkly laces look like a bow tie and hide a cats face poking out from the shoe's tongue. The laces fly when I jump, skip and jump rope. The heel is worn and scratched like a cat has had a meal. My feet purr inside my shoes because they are warm and snug like a cat sleeping next to a fire. I like my shoes because I feel like I am a cat inside.
