Birds singing like a siren

Cars blur racing in the distance

Birds laughing like the joker

Legs sticking to the couch

Red necked birds gliding into trees

Cool breeze tickling our backs

Swatting tricky little flies

Clouds like tissue paper.

We went to the Melbourne zoo with Corey, Ela and Obi. We saw loads of different animals but I liked the gorilla's the most because you could see them up close.

We went in the morning and the animals were all active and making noises. The elephants were very excited and we saw a bull elephant cracking open a frozen watermelon.

It is about 5 times bigger than compared to the zoo in Wellington and really cool.

On the plane

We were so keen to leave NZ that we managed to arrive at the airport at 4 a.m. a whole 2 hours early.

Had McDonald's for breakfast .... what a treat!
